ScopeSnap ("we," "us," or "our") operates the scopesnap.app website and progressive web application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Name, email address, company name, phone number when you sign up.
• Photos: Images you upload are stored on our servers (Cloudflare R2) and associated with your account and job records.
• Location data: GPS coordinates attached to photos, captured from your device with your permission. Used to document job site locations.
• Usage data: Basic analytics such as login times and feature usage to improve the service.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the ScopeSnap service: organizing photos, generating PDF reports, emailing reports to your customers.
• To process payments via Stripe.
• To send service-related communications (account confirmation, billing notices).
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your photos for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

Photo Data

Your photos are yours. We store them securely on Cloudflare R2 to provide the service. Photos are only accessible to you and anyone you choose to share reports with. We do not access, view, analyze, or share your photos unless required by law.

Third-Party Services

• Stripe: Handles payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare R2: Stores uploaded photos and generated PDF reports.
• Zoho Mail: Sends report emails to your customers on your behalf.

Data Retention

Your account data and photos are retained as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by emailing [email protected].

Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We follow industry-standard security practices.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting [email protected]. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU residents have additional rights under GDPR.

Children

ScopeSnap is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification.
